ÉQUIPE DE DIRECTION

Jeff Faber
Jeff Faber
President & CEO
Jeff Faber began his career as a rental technician in 1985. After earning a broadcasting diploma from Mount Royal College, Jeff was excited to be part of a growing business and even more importantly, a changing and thriving industry. Numerous promotions, advancements and industry accreditation enabled Jeff to lead a management buyout of Apex Audio Visual and the launch of Apex AVSI. Jeff assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer and further growth allowed the company to form a merger with Sharp’s Audio Visual. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Sharp’s, Jeff is reminded frequently of his career path and his beginning as a rental technician. In 1985, Jeff’s focus was attending to the needs of both coworkers and customers. And throughout his career that has remained his focus. Add a heavy dose of diligence, enthusiasm and perseverance, and the seeds for success – in the individual and the organization – are sown. “I see communications on a global scale where sustainable, repeatable practices are the standard rather than the often ad hoc approach we are challenged to deliver.” – Jeff Faber
Tim St. Louis
Tim St. Louis
Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Tim started in the audio visual industry in 1991 as an Account Manager with Apex Audio Visual. He has grown with the industry since that time bringing two influential Canadian audio visual entities, Sharp’s Audio Visual and Apex Audio Visual Systems Integration together with a 2008 merger. In 2012, Sharp’s Audio Visual added an even larger pool of exceptional people through the acquisition of the System Integration and Design division of AVW-Telav. It is Tim’s desire to establish excellent customer experiences with Canada’s largest and most successful full service audio visual sales, service and integration company. In his words; “At Sharp’s, we proudly focus our efforts on large audio visual project management, design build systems, digital signage systems and our trade marked after sales service level agreement, Rapid Care. Sharp’s is a member of the Global Presence Alliance, an organization that provides a streamlined, consistent approach to the deployment of audiovisual and videoconferencing technology on a global basis. I see after sales services as key to customer satisfaction. Strategies that are difficult to execute on well but are critical to the success of what we have to offer. Why spend tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, even millions on communications products if they do not get used and cared for appropriately. Our consulting services, trademarked Rapid Care service level agreement and our training and adoptions services provide the true return on investment for our customers.”
Richard McQuarrie
Richard McQuarrie
Chief Financial Officer
Richard McQuarrie graduated from the Financial Management program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 1986 and started his career that same year with MarkTrend, a small boutique market research firm, as the incumbent general manager. His first task was to take over the accounting function. During that time, Richard completed his CGA designation. His focus then became improving and stabilizing the operations and financial health of the organization, helping the company grow and establishing one of the first virtual call centers in North America. The quality of this firm attracted Synovate Canada, part of a global media and market research organization, to purchase MarkTrend and Richard was asked to take on the Canadian CFO role which included managing offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary and Halifax. In 2009, Richard joined the NRG Research Group as the COO to help the firm return to profitability after revenue declines from the recent recession. Reaching that goal in 2011, he did a tour in Nunavut as the CFO for the territory’s Utility Company. Having had enough of the extreme conditions there he returned to Calgary and in March 2014, Richard joined Sharp’s Audio Visual as the Director of Finance. “There is no magic bullet to building a great company. It’s all about the people and making improvements one decision at a time.” – Richard McQuarrie
