Effective January 15, 2013. Sharp’s Broadcast (formerly Videoscope) division will be sold to HD Source, one of Canada’s leading resellers of High Definition (HD) broadcast equipment to the professional Videographer, Television, Broadcast and Film industries. This move enables both Sharp’s Audio Visual and HD Source to focus on each of their core strengths and grow their respective companies. Sharp’s will continue to mature as Canada’s premiere national provider of audio visual systems integration design, installation and after sales service. HD Source will expand their talent pool and offering within the sales and service of broadcast video products.
