The IDIBC Awards of Excellence are annual awards that recognize those who have demonstrated excellence in Interior Design.
Plans are well under way for this year’s Awards of Excellence. Even in the year just following our big Olympic year, British Columbia designers were busy creating the high quality designed environments they are famous for. IDIBC received a healthy number of projects that as usual highlight a wide variety of project sizes and types, all delivering the high standards and value their customers have come to expect.
The awards were judged over a weekend in June and we can’t wait to show you the great results. New for this year, we have awarded some projects an additional award for sustainability in addition to the award in the regular category.

We are happy to announce that last year’s winners (2010) will be showcased at IIDEX in Toronto this year, and again at the start of the IDS West Show in Vancouver. To raise public awareness, this year’s Excellence winners will be displayed at the IDS West along with a People’s Choice Award and draw. Also, photos of winning projects are also available on line for the first time. In these ways, IDIBC continues to work towards increasing the public profile and the value of our Awards Program for our Professional Members. THE GALA
Save the date of Friday September 28, 2012 to attend this year’s premier award for Interior Design Excellence. The awards will be celebrated at a Gala in evening following trade day at the IDS West show.
